Collection: Heavenly

Originally active in the 1990s, Heavenly formed from the ashes of legendary Oxford band Talulah Gosh, in which all four original members – Amelia Fletcher (vocals/guitar), Peter Momtchiloff (guitar), Rob Pursey (bass) and Mathew Fletcher (drums) – had played. Cathy Rogers joined later on keyboards/vocals.

They released three albums on Sarah Records (UK) and K Records (US). The fourth album was relased on Wiiija/K. Heavenly were an indie pop explosion of riot twee! Heavenly was brought to an abrupt end in 1996 when Mathew Fletcher died.

The band reformed in 2023, with Ian Button on drums, originally just for a few shows but they've just kept on going! Now fully rejuvenated, they've released a new single "Portland Town" (2025), and will soon be announcing a new album for release in 2026.
